Supplier Code of Conduct

 

Sunrise selects reliable suppliers and gives priority to suppliers who can implement sustainable development policies that are conducive to society and the environment in their business.

Sunrise’s suppliers shall at least comply with the following codes of conduct:

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when conducting business.

Environment

Suppliers should adopt appropriate systems to assess, measure and reduce the environmental impact of their business operations.

Child Labor

Do not hire workers below the legal working age.

Except for the trainees of the accredited professional apprenticeship program, employees must be at least 16 years old.

Forced Labor

Suppliers shall not employ any form of forced labor, coercive labor or bonded labor

Salary and Working Hours

Suppliers should sign employment contracts with all employees in compliance with local laws. Suppliers shall comply with the applicable local legal minimum wage and self-discipline rules· Compensation for overtime work should be paid in accordance with the law, and the number of hours should be within the legal working time limit

Labor Relations

Suppliers should have appropriate communication mechanisms and appeal procedures to enable employees to express their requests and appeals to the management

Health and safety

Suppliers should formulate health and safety policies and clearly specify operating procedures to reduce the chance of employees being injured or ill, and to protect employees’ health. Suppliers should provide employees with training on site safety and related practices to protect the safety of themselves and other employees.

Discrimination

When hiring employees, whether the applicant meets the job requirements should be the main determinant. Suppliers should not discriminate against employees based on gender, race, nationality, age, marital status, child status, sexual orientation, religion or physical disability.

Suppliers and Subcontractors

Suppliers should develop a supplier code of conduct that meets their requirements. Suppliers should pay their suppliers and subcontractors on time.

Bribery and corruption

Suppliers should formulate policies, codes of conduct and operating procedures to prevent any form of bribery, corruption and fraud, and ensure strict implementation.

Audit and monitoring

The supplier shall provide Sunrise Metal with relevant documents to prove that it has complied with this code of conduct, and allow Sunrise to audit the relevant facilities and construction sites.
